This section is very similar to what we did in Geometry all those years ago. I found a website with a great explanation of what to do if you're trying to solve an SSA triangle. Here's the link: http://www.regentsprep.org/regents/math/algtrig/att12/lawofsinesAmbiguous.htm

Hello, I recently got an email from Garret talking about two things:
1. This one is really good if you were gone for a thing or were just generally confused about that day's lesson. You choose a topic then it goes fairly in depth explaining it and has practice problems with explanations, so you can try to do the thing and see if you were right. Here's the link, you should check it out. http://www.sosmath.com/trig/trig.html 2. Apparently in our math book, on pages xxvi-xxix, there's a list of formulas we use (and will use) in Precal. I haven't actually looked at it, but I imagine it looks similar to the massive cheat sheet. Thanks Garret! Email me if you have any helpful tips or find cool things like this Hello! Keith sent me a link to a Purplemath thing. It walks through how to solve a few trig equations and is overall really helpful and very clear. If you feel like you failed that quiz (I know I feel that way) check this website out:
http://www.purplemath.com/modules/solvtrig.htm Thanks Keith! Y'all should send me stuff, use the contact tab to do that This is the helpful picture that Schlake drew. It's a little confusing, sorry. Email me with questions. If you want to print it out, there's a link at the bottom.
HELLO PRECAL PEOPLE. So I made a review sheet for the last cumulative test. Was it helpful? Should I do that sort of thing more often? If so, you should email me.
If you have a better review idea, you should email me. If you want me to put more notes and helpful tips up, email me (or tell me in person). If you want the secret slideshows updated, email me. Your feedback is literally the only thing that will make this website better. Click the button below to do all of that. You can also take the survey if emailing me is too labor-intensive. |
